Ethical

Each week in school we have a word that we call the word of the week. This weeks word is ethical. So I’m just going to talk about what the meaning of ethical is. Ethical means to do the right thing or,”Relating to moral principles or the branch of knowledge dealing with these.” Being ethical is so important. As a christian being ethical is even more important to me. God knows everything and doing the right thing is so important! Yesterday I just got back from a winter retreat with my Youth Group and for of our devotion times we read part of Romans and this is one of the verses that really spoke to me,”No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

Overcomer

Hey guys! Today I’m going to talk about a time God helped me overcome a difficult struggle. Before I start I want to say I can’t tell you how much I debated on posting this but then I remembered maybe just person might read this and be struggling with the same thing and this might help them overcome it! So when was about 10 years old I struggled with anxiety and it became so bad that I made myself sick and I wouldn’t eat. It was something that took everything from me. I was on vacation with my family and I just felt this peace come over me an it was something I had never experienced before. I felt like it was God saying , ” Hey, it’s ok you don’t have to worry anymore.” I had been so caught up in my own problems that I forgot that God was the one right beside me walking with me through every step of the way. Philippians 4:13 ,”I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

What God taught me today!

Today God taught me to forgive.Forgiveness is one of the most discussed topics in the Bible. God teaches us the power to forgive the ones that maybe we don’t feel like we could ever forgive! Forgiveness is so powerful! I hope you all have great day! ~”Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”~ Ephesians 4:32

Thankfulness!

I’m so sorry I have not posted in so long! I have been seen so busy with cheer (which I just started! Comment below if you do cheer!) Since next week is Thanksgiving I am going to be telling you some things I’m thankful for and how you can be thankful for things that are so tiny . If I sat here and typed out everything I was thankful for you would be reading forever! First of all I want to say I am so grateful for my family. First my mom, she is my super hero, my role model and I love her so much ! My Dad, he’s the life of the party , such a goof ball and I love him so much! My brother and sister are my best friends even though we don’t get along all the time! My sister-in law, she’s amazing and I couldn’t ask for a more beautiful and loving wife for my brother! My best friends Violet, Annabelle, Sarah, and Missy. They are so supportive of me and my decisions even when they probably aren’t very smart! And they laugh at my jokes even when they aren’t funny! I hope you all have a great thanksgiving! Comment down below some things your thankful for! Thank you all for reading!

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
